I hope all you folks down along the coast stay safe thru this storm.   It looks like Rehoboth is just on the
edge of it....but then, we usually are! Wink

Well, If you were dumb enough to buy anything from Chinese Harbor Freight you deserve what you got. To bad it didn't happen on the road with me following you then I could have sued you. How did you manage to communicate with the store manager? I didn't know you spoke Chinese.

Frank, you're a poor excuse, for a CHEAP POLAK!    Ed

Notice to all garden tractor pullers.
The Pulling Committee would like to remind you that YOU are responsible for reading and following the Garden Tractor Pulling Rules, both the General Rules section and the Section which pertains to your particular Tractor. These rules are and have been posted on the Website and available at any pull or available by Mail since March.
Nobody but you is responsible for your tractor complying with the rules.
As to the issue of taching r.p.m. and verifying weight, this rule was added by the committee back in July.
The Club will use a designated official tach  operated by The Pull commitee, who will also operate the throttle on any tractor being tached. If you have your own PORTABLE  tach, which we advise you to have, and you dispute our findings you may have the Pull committee use your tach. We will accept your tach reading as long as we are able to compare our tach readings to yours beforehand.
          REMEMBER:  READ THE RULES

I bumped into my spare tire, with an empty pallet, that I was carrying.  The tire dropped to the ground!..  The carriage bolts that hold the tire to the holder, "lost their heads".  I found one head, under the trailer, the other is somewhere between here, and New Hampshire, the only place I've been, with the new holder.  Scary to think what could have happened, if the second on failed, on the road.  Brought it to the attention, of the local store manager, who promptly offered me bolts, from another package.  (Yes, Frank, I look like I just fell off the turnip truck)   Replaced them with Gr 8 bolts.  Ed

Rochester Fair was awesome this year!  The theme Hillbilly Days was so much fun!  Congrats go out to
Tony Vacca who took first place in the tractor division.  Bruce Thompson came in third. I wish the weather
cooperated better.  The sprinkles in the morning were't bad but by the afternoon we had intermitten downpours.

Thanks Greg, I agree.  I spoke with Doreen at Francis Farm and I have scheduled them for 2011 from April thru Sept at Francis Farm, except for the month of August because the club pulls at Rochester and will probably pull at Marshfield too.  The only one not on the last Sunday is the one in May because there's a big event already going on at Francis Farm so it's the week before, May 22nd.
An October pull is not scheduled but that doesn't mean they can't have one.  Maybe move the one in Dennis
to October next year.  (March 12th is the Ham & Bean Supper)
